TWBCA Current and Ongoing Projects

TWBCA provides a forum for discussing local issues with our councillor and City staff and makes deputations to City committees
Arranges meetings on topics of local interest (development sites, pedestrian safety, urban forest, etc.)
Sends representatives to public consultations
Hosts all-candidates meetings.
Supports City of Toronto initiatives within our area such as Clean City, Beautiful City
Works on neighbourhood improvements to neighbourhood parks and playgrounds
Maintains Railside Gardens, a community garden with thousands of native species along Dundas Street West between Abbott and Humberside
Works with the Keele Street/Parkside Drive Traffic Safety Committee to help improve traffic controls and safety

Builds awareness for The West Bend through communication and community events such the Summer Celebration in Baird Park
